Xlim SQ: the practical, designer pod

Surprising patterns, original colors, perfect handling… It’s hard to find fault with this little Xlim SQ kit from Oxva. Indeed, in terms of design, this 68.5 x 47 x 14 mm, 44g pod is a real feast for the eyes. Discreet yet eye-catching, this Xlim SQ kit is made of aluminum alloy and PCTG, and stands out as a very good square version of the Xlim SE kit.

For transport, this little kit slips into any pocket, bag or saddlebag. It can even be worn around the neck, thanks to a lanyard supplied with the kit.

Performance worthy of the best pods on the market

In addition to its high-quality design, the Xlim SQ kit boasts very pleasing performance for this type of pod. It supports a built-in battery with 900mAh autonomy, enough to vape all day without worrying about recharging. As for recharging, it’s ultra-fast, taking just 30 minutes to charge up to 80% of the battery. A USB-C charging cable is included.

To let you know when the device needs recharging, there’s a small LED on the front of the pod. This activates when a cartridge is fitted, lighting up in white. It also lights up during the draw to indicate battery status. Red for a battery below 30%, blue between 30 and 64% and green for a battery above 65%. In the event of a very low battery, the LED will flash red ten times.

As for power, the Xlim SQ offers a range from 5 to 25W. A wide enough range to offer different types of vape. Power varies according to the airflow opening and the cartridge fitted.

And yes, it is possible to change the airflow opening. To do so, simply slide the knob on the side of the pod.

The new Xlim cartridges

The Xlim SQ kit is powered by a battery and a cartridge. This cartridge will inevitably be an Xlim V2, as these are the compatible cartridges for this pod. They are also compatible with other Xlim kits. With a capacity of 2ml, these cartridges are available in 0.6 ohm, 0.8 ohm and 1.2 ohm. In the purchase kit for this pod, a 0.8 ohm Xlim V2 cartridge is pre-installed, and a 1.2 ohm Xlim V2 cartridge is supplied.

So you can enjoy a full-flavored MTL or RDTL draw with the two cartridges supplied. For a larger draw, you’ll need to turn to the 0.6 ohm cartridges. Even if the draw is larger, it’s no less tasty, as all XLim V2 cartridges perform very well in this area. A high-performance, tasty kit, perfect for beginner vapers.
